This picture is among the favourite in the Batik Inspirations book. First, the lady’s pants has drawn much attention with its beautiful shades of bright green engulfed in the lines and curves. Placed strategically at the bottom of the pants, it shows how beautiful batik can be, by just being subtle and not too loud.
The guy’s shirt on the left is also very captivating with big peacock feather like motifs in another bold colour of orange. Once again, it plays with different shades of the similar colour of orange & brown. This piece shows how beautiful and contemporary batik can be.
